Introduction

Sri Devsagar Singhi Jain Mandir is located in Sujangarh, a town in Churu District, Rajasthan. As the name suggests, the temple was built by the ancestors of Singhi’s of Sujangarh. Construction of Singhi Jain Mandir started in the year 1905 (Vikram Samvat 1961). It took approximately ten years to build this beautiful temple that is standing proudly since its completion in the year 1915.

The temple site is dedicated to Lord Parshvanath, the 23rd Jain Tirthankar. On the eve of Magh Shukla Teras on Vikram Samvat 1971, the idols of the temples were placed followed by dhawaja rohan and a grand celebration. It took approximately four lakhs rupees to complete what we see today as a great work of art and arcitecture.
